This will bore most of you and I don’t give a fuck. :-) I’ve used some of the old feather boards and didn’t think much of them but now you can buy some pretty fancy plastic ones, they may be a big improvement for cuts that are critical. But I wanted something right now so I just used a scrap piece of plywood that I clamped to the table and a couple pieces of plastic to provide some tension.
Like all table saws these days mine came with a blade guard, that I removed but the piece left behind the blade acts as a sort of feather board but I’ll make something better for back there also, I like to make shit up and you can make cleaner cuts with them.
