Fucking leaves

My parking spot is under two big trees.
I removed the cowling at the bottom of my windshield to remove the leaves, the idiots didn't put a good screen over the heater/A/C air intakes.

As the leaves dry and break up they fall down into the heater/AC housing and it is a bitch to remove it to clean it out, these days you often have to remove the whole dash. I'm looking for some screen.

I miss the good old days when you could go into a hardware store and get just a foot of ¼ inch screen without having to buy a whole fucking roll. I only need two 4 X 18 inch pieces. I’ll find some somewhere.

I’m thinking I should paint the cowling while it is off, if I can find some paint for it that I can afford.
