Those
that can brainstorm and improvise can always get by okay. I have some table
legs to remove the finish from and I don’t like using finish removers unless I
have to. I don’t have a wood lathe but I
do have an old 12 volt drill I wired to run off a 12 volt car or lawnmower
battery so I made up a crude lathe that works good for removing the finish with
rasps and sandpaper.
I
bought a new compound sliding cut off saw and the first thing I did was remove
the goddamn blade guard. You don’t really need all your fingers to be a wood
worker. Today I’m going to get a 12 ½ inch planner if the son of a bitch is in
yet.
