If
you’re not into tools don’t bother to read this. A few months ago I bought a
Bauer battery operated drill from Harbor Freight, they are good enough drills
for most home owners without spending a lot of money. A new thing these days
are battery operated impact drivers so I got one of them also. Impressed with
the driving power the little bastards have but I don’t think most hobby
craftsman needs one, especially for wood working. Unless they have a need to
drive a lot of long screws, like 5 or 6 inches long.
They
don’t have a chuck like drills do so require buying more accessories and such.
I’ll mostly just use mine when working on cars, or want to drive the head of a
screw halfway through a 2X6. Have a fucking blessed day.
