Way too many people here expect some god to favor them.
It is my opinion that folks shouldn’t get to attached to things like chickens, they are not more special than the chickens they eat, they’re just chickens. This is not a Walt Disney world.

Dad had a pet chicken when he was young and when times got lean his pet was on the table. A bit traumatic to say the least.
