I think the crazy cat lady has declared war on me and feeding the cats enough to keep them out of my cage. There was a bit of food in the cage all night, there wouldn’t be if there wasn’t easier pickings in the area. Being a crazy cat lady she isn’t about to admit that there are too many feral cats in this area.
She is a lot more conniving and sneaky than I am, the block busy body, but I’ll come up with something.
Have a blessed fucking day.
Carry on, godfuckingdamnit.
What about those felines' quality-of-life? Shouldn't that also be a top priority?
ReplyDeleteOfficious "do-gooders" often create more problems with their "solutions" than they solve.
Most of them are sick and keep passing it along and she isn't about to spend any of her money on cat health care.
DeleteThat's sort of what I mean: her "humanitarian" motto of "allowing" the cats the "right" to "live freely" is overlooking all sorts of variables and inconvenient facts---being exposed to and in return exposing other cats to certain diseases among them.
DeleteTo her the culling of certain feral felines probably register as a form of "animal abuse" in her idealistically myopic mind, not realizing the only alternative is the bigger picture of the disastrous consequences of doing nothing and allowing nature to simply "take its course" in this instance.
what do you do when you catch a cat? sell it to a chinese restaurant?
ReplyDeleteI take it to the shelter, where they will likely kill it or I kill and bury it. A few of them go to good homes that will give them proper care.
