I was at the bayou at daybreak yesterday, no luck fishing.

Then after painting some lawn furniture for the floozy in the end unit I staked down the table for her so it won’t blow away.

Pizza

I’ve never had Little Caesars pizza before so the other day I got a deep dish lunch special. I think it is damn good pizza. It is a lot of dough but it is damn tasty dough and not tough, it’s not so good the next day though. Next I will try a stuffed crust.

Looks like only four of my sunflower seeds sprouted, will plant a few more.

DUSTY BITES THE DUST !!!

Well hell, death doesn’t have to be solemn, but a celebration of life.

Dusty, the old cat I let in last winter expired sometime Thursday night. It was expected, she was nothing but skin and bones near the end, I’ve never felt such a bony animal before  but her last days were comfy.

I buried her on my lot, the hole didn’t have to be very deep, she wasn’t any thicker than a fucking place mat. I like to think that when young she was a fine pussy cat and got her share of Tomcat dick.

Had lunch at a Mexican joint yesterday, it was good but I can’t say that Mexican food agrees with me.

The used cabinets I got were made by Ashley, so so quality I guess, good enough for the likes of me anyway.

More work area

Our kitchens have damn little counter space, about 18 inches on each side of the sink. I don’t do a lot of cooking but damn sure wanted more space than that so told Bobbie I was going to put a six foot unit against the other wall and was looking for something used as new units are pretty damn expensive.

She wondered where I would get something like that, oh hell, don’t be in any hurry and just start looking around and talking to folks. Old stuff is always being taken out of old homes that are being remodeled. We got a new bartender at Waylon’s and she mentioned to a man next to me that she and the hubby also do paint jobs and he does some remodel work at times.

“Hey, got any used cabinets?” She thought they might so I went to their place and got three units and an extra front for thirty bucks. Two of the units will be just right, need some work on them but it is a good start for the money.

Still have to come up with a countertop but something will show up or I’ll just make one.

More boring stuff….

Harbor Freight will sell ya a cooling system pressure tester for ninty bucks but fuk them. I bought a four dollar flush kit and installed a tee in a heater hose and used a garden hose to test for leaks. Not going to tell you how to do that.

Replaced the 22 year old water bypass hose but first I had to get the A/C pump and alternator out of the way to remove a big bracket on the front of the engine. While at it I put a cooler thermostat in it.

Now if it still uses water it will have to be the head gaskets.

A message to those thick headed fools that got the way they are because of their own self destructive behaviors, don’t use that bullshit about walking a mile in your shoes. IF I WALKED A MILE IN YOUR SHOES I’D PROBABLY JUST SHOOT MYSELF.

Went to Walfart for a tube of high temp automotive gasket maker and had to have a clerk approve it at self-checkout. “Since when did I start needing approval for gasket maker?” “Since kids started eating Tide Pods.”

Stupid fucking kids, I sense that in not that many years there will be a bunch of people in their 30’s that are so fucked up that they will be a burden on the health care system for years. There are already too many bottom feeders that were spoiled brats as kids expecting to be cared for, hey, the rest of the world owes you nothing. Want jesus to help you, hell, offer to suck his dick, there has to be something in it for him.

Chilly today and Bobbie isn’t happy about having to go to an outside wedding.

Last winter when I let an old bag of sick bones inside it was cuz I felt sorry for her and didn’t expect her to last the winter but she is still stomping along without complaint and bares her misery well.

The old cat is tougher than she looks, I may try to treat her condition but every cat in this neighborhood has the same problem and just keeps passing it along.

Fucking water pump

I wonder if vegetarians eat animal cookies. Made a Tuna casserole yesterday, didn’t know I’d be making so damn much of it. Saw a group of cats in the field so I walked over to see what it was about. It was just some cats watching two cats screwing, entertainment is hard to come by in Brownwood.

Goddamnit, my truck needs another water pump. It will be the forth one I’ve replaced.

Easter???

68 percent of us do nothing about easter in any way or form. Around the same percentage of us don’t believe in the christians god. Some folks thinks it is their job to preach god and jesus, it is my job to bash that bullshit, deal with it.

Gary Elliot brought me a automotive code reader, may be useful if I can figure how to use it properly. My truck is a 96, first year of the OBD11 system so it may or may not be very useful, we shall see.
