Mentioned that Tim gave me a gas leaf blower with a broken pull cord. Don’t need one but figured I would see if I could fix it anyway, some springs and cords are a bugger to figure out. When I took it apart the parts just fell out on the floor, great, now I didn’t know what order they were in there.
So I studied it for a while and it turns out that it is actually a pretty simple setup and easy to replace if you do it right. You have to turn it upside down to remove the two blower housing pieces, BUT, if you turn it back over after removing the screws and before removing the last housing piece everything stays in place and you can see how the parts go together and it is easy to replace the cord or a busted spring. The spring is contained in its own housing so won’t give you trouble like many of them do.
The turd didn’t tell me the primer bulb was also bad and I didn’t notice it until I replaced the starter rope, those little fuckers are expensive, not sure I want to buy one for something I don’t need anyway.
Shrimp are useful, did you know that? Some species of them remove parasites from fish that come to them just for that purpose. Of course, they are also tasty.
The man accused of driving a truck into a Mardi Gras parade crowd, injuring 28 people, had a blood-alcohol level almost three times the legal limit, New Orleans police said….. Seems like a good place to avoid, lot of folks gets hurt or killed there every year. Been saying that for years. Not my circus, not my monkeys.
March 14th is steak and blowjob day.
